Learn to Play Hockey
The Learn to Play Hockey (LPH) program is an opportunity for kids who are 8 and under to learn to play hockey. This is for skaters that have already completed Learn to Skate (LTS) or know how to skate. LPH is open to Baldwin-Woodville, St Croix Central, Glenwood City, and Spring Valley residents. There are 8 sessions between September 15th, 2026 and October 1st, 2026.
The Learn to Play Hockey program has a minimum age of 4 years old. We have found that kids younger than that often can't make it through 8 sessions just due to their age and attention span. We do this to make sure the kids have a great experience.
Ages
LPH is appropriate for players between ages 4 and 8 years old who have completed the Learn to Skate (LTS) program.
Cost
The cost for the LPH program is $30 + processing fees.
The skater is also required to register with USA Hockey to get on the ice for liability reasons. USA Hockey also has an affiliate fee, see below:
